A Leader of Products and Training at Barry-Wehmiller Design Group, Lisa Thomas is one of BWDG’s foremost creative thinkers. Lisa’s role is focused on building applications and tools that assist companies move beyond the basics provided in their core software suites.

Education
Lisa attended Clemson University as a mathematics major, continuing her studies with a focus on computer science, Italian culture and currently, youth development. Lisa believes each area of study complimented by her work experiences provides her with a comprehensive perspective.

Proficiencies
Lisa has worked on (types) projects involving multi-company, multi-location and multi-cultural teams. She has a flair for driving dialogues that increase and improve communications which support better results. Lisa finds new people, locations and industries fascinating and unique perspectives on business and life are always of interest to her. She has worked in several industries and business functions, including: Manufacturing, Banking, Insurance, Government, Logistics, Resale, Software Development, Consulting, Waste Management and Medical.

Career Management
When recently asked for her advice on making good career choices, she said, "Each person is gifted with unique abilities. Take the time to reflect on your individual accomplishments highlighting your talents and appreciate how exceptional you are. We develop new talents throughout our careers. Sharing the resulting value with our team members and organizations is so important.”

Inspired People
Lisa shared her view on inspired people, stating, “You cannot completely experience fulfilment in your career until you understand and are contributing the best of yourself to create value in the world.” The culture at Barry-Wehmiller is an environment where people can discover themselves and develop their limitless possibilities.

She loves Clemson sports, tailgating with family & friends and all things Southern.
